Islamic Knowledge Competition
Participants have to study from the study notes prepared by MuslimVille. Study notes are available here. As a part of the competition participants will be evaluated after Ramadan.
Evaluation Question sheet (for 50 marks)
Participants have to answer the ‘Evaluation Question sheet’ specific for their grade. ‘Evaluation Question sheet’ must be submitted by October 7th, 2008 via mail: MuslimVille, 789 Crawford Street, Toronto, Ontario, M6G 3K4; Fax: 416.273.0176 Toll Free Fax:1.888.656.7705; or E-mail: Scan your answers and e-mail (call us to obtain the email address).
Participants must understand that they are to answer the questions on their own.
Participants will get 10 marks for submitting the Ramadan study evaluation sheet and 40 marks for the right answers.
Final Quiz (for 50 marks)
Final evaluation will be done after the Ramadan on Sunday October 26th through a ‘Final Quiz’ based on the Ramadan Study Notes. This Quiz will be conducted either written, verbal over phone or Online.
Written/Verbal Quiz
Alhamdulillah, many Islamic institutions, schools and communities have come forward to organize a ‘Written Quiz’ (for grade 3 to 8) and ‘Verbal Quiz’ (for JK, SK and Grade 1 & 2) on the same date and time. So look for the updates in our webpage for the locations of the ‘Quiz’ on Sunday October 26th, 10 A.M.
Greater Toronto Area participants can come for the ‘Final Quiz’ October 26th, 2008 from 10-12pm at Islamic Information and Dawa Center International (1168 Bloor street west, Toronto). Other locations where participants can go for the ‘Written Quiz’ will be posted in www.muslimville.com soon. All participants will be notified by e-mail about the locations before October7th, 2008, InshaAllah.
Online Quiz (for Grade 3 to 8)*
Considering the vastness of Canada we will conduct the online Quiz on Sunday October 26th, 10 A.M. EST to 1 P.M. for those participants who might not have a chance to go for the ‘Written Quiz’. Participants can start anytime during this period but must finish within 1 hour of start time.
*To participate in the online quiz, participants must notify us by email before October 10th, 2008. They will be provided with a password for the online test following the request.
Quiz over Phone (for JK, SK and Grade 1 & 2)*
We will conduct the ‘Quiz over Phone’ on Sunday October 26th, 10 A.M. EST to 1 P.M. for those participants who might not have a chance to go for the ‘Verbal Quiz’. Participants will we contacted by the MuslimVille Team during this period of time for the ‘Verbal Quiz’ which might take 15 to 20 minutes for each participant. ‘Verbal Quiz’ is a random set of questions and recitations from the study notes.
*To participate in the ‘Quiz over Phone’ participants must notify us by email before October 10th, 2008.
